SPG Resourcing is proud to partner with a leading global supply chain solutions provider in their search for an experienced Project Manager to join their Texas office. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-value projects across a dynamic and innovative environment.

 

About the Role:

 

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards. You will manage project scope, risks, and resources, work closely with key stakeholders, and lead delivery teams with a proactive, hands-on approach.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, execute, monitor, and control all aspects of assigned projects.
  • Manage the connection between solution development teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Lead a broad range of projects from initiation through to closure.
  • Prepare and maintain key project documentation such as Work Requests, Cost Estimates, Business Cases, Project Briefs, Project Initiation Documents, Project Plans, Forecasts, Change Requests, and Closure Reports.
  • Track and manage project costs, schedules, and resources.
  • Deliver projects on time, to scope, and within budget, ensuring a strong focus on quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, influencing up to senior leadership level.
  • Implement and manage quality management plans throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify risks and issues proactively and develop mitigation plans.

 

About You:

Experience Required:

  • 3-5 years of project management experience, managing full lifecycle projects (initiation to closure).
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional technical teams within complex organizations.
  • Background in supply chain, logistics, or technology sectors preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies; experience leading Agile teams is highly desirable.
  • Experience with data modeling projects is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong track record in managing budgets, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and balance multiple stakeholder demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience preparing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
  • Demonstrated success in influencing and communicating effectively at all levels of an organization.

 

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent years of professional experience).
  • Professional Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
